Gangneung (Jeongdongjin) Buchaegil Motel & Pension

It was a good value accommodation. It rained on the day we arrived so we couldn't see the sunrise, but I liked that the sea was right in view. The parking area is small, but a public parking lot is nearby so parking was convenient.

The view was nice, and it had been remodeled recently so it was tidy.

First, this place is very uncomfortable for an adult man. As in the photo, it is diagonal, so when you stand you have to bend slightly and it hurts your back. But the child liked it so much that we just tolerated it or sat down and went about our time. If you go out the back way you can get to Jeongdongjin Beach right away, which is nice—about a 5-minute walk.

It is a one [room], but the room is very big... It's a bit disappointing that Coupang delivery is not available, but the owner took great care of us and received the chicken delivery. Thank you!

Even though the reservation was sudden, we were very satisfied with the accommodation. Thanks to the owner's consideration we were assigned a room with a balcony, so in the evening we brought a bunch of food from Gangneung Central Market, laid out a mat, and spent a happy day enjoying the sea.

There is a public parking lot before entering the accommodation, so it would be good to park there and then come in. When you go out there is a walking path, and if you follow it the sea appears quickly, so it is great for a morning walk by the sea. It was even better because we brought our dog.

I traveled with my child and my dog; the room condition was excellent and the facilities were great! We had a relaxing stay.

I wanted to watch the sunrise from the room so I booked Buchaegil Pension, but they assigned me to another place so I was disappointed. Still, it was inexpensive and I had a good stay.

It was excellent for the price.
