Check-in is not permitted for groups exceeding the maximum room capacity. (Includes infants and children. Please inquire before booking.)
You cannot select a specific floor or room number. Rooms are assigned based on direct bookings or the order of reservations, so you may be assigned a room on a lower floor. (Ondol rooms are located only on the 2nd floor.)
If you are staying with children, please ensure they do not run around or shout.
You can see the sunrise within a 1–2 minute walk.
All rooms have private terraces.
Cooking and pets are strictly prohibited. (Violations result in no refund, immediate checkout, and payment of the next day’s room rate.)
Consuming red king crabs, snow crabs, or other shellfish is prohibited. The smell does not go away. (Violators will be required to pay the next day’s room rate.)
This is a newly constructed building completed in August 2017. As this is a shared facility with one parking space per room, please behave courteously so as not to disturb other guests.
If you cause excessive noise, we may ask you to stop or require you to leave immediately without a refund.
If you cause damage to room furnishings or other property, we may require you to pay for the damages.
The policy is one parking space per room. Parking more than two vehicles per room is not permitted.
Smoking is permitted only on the terrace.

The view is nice and it seems ideal as a quiet place to rest. The owner is friendly and it is clean.

I stayed one night at Haedameun Motel while traveling in Sokcho, and it was a good value. The room was neatly arranged and the bedding was comfortable, so I was able to rest well. The location was convenient for getting to Sokcho's main attractions. Parking was available, which was convenient for guests with cars, and the staff were friendly and helpful, so there were no issues from check-in to check-out. The facilities are not brand-new, but they were well maintained overall and quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. I would recommend this place if you are looking for comfortable lodging at a reasonable price. I would consider staying here again if I visit Sokcho.
The owner was friendly and the facilities were clean! The beach is a 2-minute walk... it was wonderful I would like to visit again!
I stayed one night around June 2024, and since it had been almost two years I needed another getaway, so this time I booked three nights. The room was, as before, clean and pleasant. The bathroom was also spotless; there was a liquid hand soap dispenser by the sink and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash inside the shower stall. The body wash smelled like a sweet fruity scent at the time I stayed, which I liked… lol I think the amenities included a toothbrush and small single-use toothpaste in a plastic pouch, but I brought my own toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, and shaving foam, so I only used one shower towel. I visited around mid-April, so it was quiet and peaceful without crowds. If you open the window to air the room once in a while, you can hear the gentle sound of the waves. The owners, both husband and wife, were very kind. Since I stayed three nights, they would check in when we passed each other to see if we needed anything, and they even refilled drinking water and other necessities for us. Overall I was very satisfied and would like to come back when I need another rest sometime. I’ll skip posting photos of the property itself since the business and other guests have already uploaded plenty of those. Instead, here are a few pictures I took at the beach you can reach in about a 2–3 minute walk.

You can rest quietly and comfortably.
This is a place I want to keep to myself. I really love it.
- Less than a 5-minute walk to the beach - There is a cafe nearby - Convenience store about a 10–15 minute walk? - Quiet, clean, has a balcony - Good cleanliness - Microwave on the first floor The only downside is that although it is an ondol room, you cannot control the boiler from the room because it uses central heating, so you don't get the usual benefit of ondol. They did turn on the heat so it was warm when sleeping, but it was a bit cold until before 6 AM.
The location of the accommodation was good, and the room and bathroom were clean, so I rested well.
