Sokcho Mirage

Worst lost-and-found response — I will never use this place again I used Mirage with my sister and her husband during a trip to Sokcho. I'm leaving this review because of what happened after checkout, not because of the stay itself. My sister left a pair of pearl earrings beside the sink. They were a precious item bought not long ago, and she remembered exactly where she left them. The problem was what happened after that. When we contacted them, the first response was just one line: "We did not see it during cleaning." There was no offer to look for it or to check. When we called again, the cleaning staff came down and, after checking, only repeated that they "did not see it." Even though we clearly remembered the location, there was absolutely no willingness to try to find them. The attached file is a photo taken the morning we left showing her wearing the earrings. I can't understand how such noticeable earrings could have been missed. It made me doubt whether they even have a lost-and-found procedure. This is not about whether the item was expensive. This place completely lacks the basic service mindset to sincerely look for items left by customers. Since Mirage is not the only accommodation in Sokcho, I strongly recommend reconsidering a visit.
