Tongyeong Areumdaun Hotel

Small but very neat. It's a non-smoking facility, which is great. The inside is very clean so I liked it. The owner is very kind. The room was a bit small, but it was not a problem at all.

When you choose a random room, they give a room without a bed. Bedding is laid out on the floor. The accommodation itself is clean, but it feels like an older motel that was remodeled. It is just what you pay for, and the room is a bit narrow. Heating and cooling worked fine, and they provide amenities. If you do not receive parking support, parking at the public lot in front costs 8,000 KRW for the stay. (If support is provided, I think they cover about 5,000 KRW.)

I revisited after two weeks haha. It was a special deal, so I rested well at a low price.

Maybe because it's newly built, it's really nice. I like that there is a rooftop too. It's just a shame that the OTT service doesn't work.

It was a last-minute 1-night, 2-day trip to Tongyeong. I booked because the location was so good after looking around. The person at the counter was friendly, and the room was clean and the water pressure was just right. My wife and I were sleeping together so we did not worry about much haha. If we go as a couple again, we will probably stay here~

Honestly, saying it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. It was the Golden Holiday on May 2-3, and at this price with this condition it's unreal. As soon as I walked in the room was very neat and comfortable. There was even a small table, and the bathroom was truly hotel-grade clean. The view… great. The location is excellent. Right next to it are the central market and the fresh fish market, so we bought sashimi to go and ate it on the roof — it was much fresher and tastier than most restaurants or bars. The prices were also reasonable, so it felt like perfect value for money. Because it faces a busy area the atmosphere was wonderful, and there happened to be a stage performance, so we could watch it comfortably from the roof and the room. It's within walking distance to Tongyeong DP, so it's perfect for a leisurely night stroll. We watched the fountain show from the room and on the bridge on the way back; it really felt like a proper trip. I was a bit worried because there weren't many reviews, but that was unnecessary worry. This place is the real deal. Next time I come to Tongyeong I'll book here without hesitation. If you're deciding, just go. You won't regret it 👍

Unmanned check-in and check-out made things convenient. The size and facilities were fine for one person. I arrived around 5 PM but there were no parking spots on the road in front of the accommodation, so I walked to Hansan Great Battle Plaza parking, about an 8-minute walk. Two days of parking cost 12,000 won.

I was surprised to find no parking available when I arrived, but thankfully there was a public parking area on the street in front of the building so I was able to park. Clean, good hair dryer, overall satisfied.
