The founder, who spent his life working in street culture, loved the sea so much that he built a hotel on Eulwangri Beach, the closest beach to Seoul. He wanted to bring a new vibe to Eulwangri Old Town, which still retains its decades-old charm. Though he'd spent his entire life in the street scene, he implemented a minimalist style, the exact opposite of a street aesthetic. Because predictable is boring.
