Kiwa Hostel

There was one restroom on the 5th floor, but it was unisex... I went up to the 6th floor, and there was only one restroom open, and that one had a clogged toilet, so using the restroom was inconvenient. Aside from that, the interior was neat and usable.

This is a capsule hotel where the sleeping area is basically just a place to store luggage and sleep (there is a small side shelf next to the capsule). Shared restrooms are on the guest floors and the lounge floor, and the showers are only on the lounge floor. The shower pressure was pretty strong. I forgot to bring a hair dryer so I was worried, but the shower room had both a hair dryer and a straightener, which was great. It is about a 5-minute walk from COEX. Overall I was satisfied and rested well!

It was my first time and it was very cozy and nice ㅠㅎㅎ Amenities were well stocked and I liked that 😀 If I have the chance I will 100% come back 😀

It's really a capsule! Extremely narrow. But very clean. Haha. If I ever just need to sleep in Gangnam again, I would consider coming back... The shower is really small and the bed is small, so taller women might be uncomfortable :(

I'm posting a polished review because I was very satisfied with the accommodation. I stayed here alone while traveling in Seoul, and overall I was very pleased. I was a bit surprised that a place with this atmosphere exists in Gangnam. It was around 70,000 KRW per night and had a tranquil, hanok-style capsule vibe, so it was quiet and relaxing. The rooms, shower facilities, and bedding were all clean, and since it was newly opened, everything felt fresh and comfortable. The female and male floors are separated, and entrance is by card key only, so I felt secure about safety. The lobby floor had a cozy area good for studying or relaxing, and simple food, tea, coffee, and ice were freely available, which made it very convenient for solo travelers. I would recommend this place to students, job seekers, and office workers who come to Seoul alone.
