A cozy place, I rested comfortably before going to the marathon. Thank you!

I stayed one night while on a business trip. The location is inside Insadong, so it seems great for travelers.
I stayed near Anguk Station and the location was truly excellent! It was convenient to get to Bukchon, Insadong, and Gyeongbokgung, and there were many good restaurants nearby, so it was perfect for traveling. The room I stayed in had a queen-size bed and a loft bed; the space was cozy, and I especially liked that there were two types of pillows, a memory-foam mattress pillow and a regular fiber pillow. Above all, the room was very warm, so it was great for staying in winter. It felt so snug as soon as I walked in, which put me in a good mood. On the first floor you can freely have ramen and coffee, which was great for a late-night snack, and amenities were available next to the kiosk check-in so I could easily grab what I needed. It felt like they paid attention to even the small details. When I checked in, a traditional snack was hung on the door handle as a welcome treat, and that thoughtful touch made me start the trip in a good mood. Overall I was satisfied with the location, the facilities, and the warm atmosphere, so I would love to stay here again the next time I visit the Anguk area! 👍
My friend and I went to Seoul for the weekend and I think we picked the perfect place! The room was really cozy and clean, and the provided pajamas were cute and comfortable. In the lobby you can enjoy water, coffee, and ramen for free, and the location is excellent! Also, when I checked in there was a small issue with the kiosk, but fortunately the owner was there and helped—very kind, attentive, and solved it for us! If I visit Seoul again I definitely want to stay at Hoteljak!! If you’re a foreigner, sadly our ARC doesn’t work for identification :( either bring your passport OR press the button on the kiosk to connect with the operator and ask them to manually input your ARC info!
I planned an Insadong tour during a family trip and booked this place because I liked the photos. From the moment we arrived, the charm that highlights the hanok characteristics and the cozy feel of the accommodation were excellent. The kids loved the bunker room and the ramen bar, and the large bathroom, the cleanliness of the bedding, and the overall indoor cleanliness were great. Also, because it was a winter trip, the warm floor brought back memories of the ondol under the master room of a hanok~~~

It was warm because they cranked up the heating, and the ramen service was also good. However, because check-in was contactless, the room entry process was a bit difficult, and there was no information about whether amenities were available or where they were located. It was late, so I went out to buy a toothbrush, but on the second day I asked and found out they were provided in the hallway — I wish they had informed us in advance.
Maybe because it just opened, I liked everything about it! I wish I could have stayed more than one night haha. I was too flustered when leaving to leave a Post-it in the lounge like a guestbook, but I have one request. I forgot to take a photo properly so I'm attaching a rough picture my partner took... *You might get the idea from the third photo: the tile finishing at the corner of the chair to the left when facing the bathtub seems unfinished. When we filled the tub, my partner sat on the floor and leaned against the chair instead of sitting on it, and said it hurt. At first I brushed it off, but after showering I saw long red scratches on my partner's back — it looks like a cut. The corner is sharp, so please fix the finishing :) Aside from this, everything was extremely satisfying! I want to visit again — I will come back :D

The bunk-bed room is seriously cramped. Four adults would be too much. The room was very hot and the top bunk was so dry it was hard to stay there. The free ramen was nice for breakfast. Free brewed coffee too. The complimentary tea in the room was good, but I could hear the sound of other rooms' showers dripping very loudly, which bothered me.

It hasn't been open long, so it's super clean and nice. The place was more spacious than I expected, cozy for four people, and they even provide pajamas!!!! Even better, the pajamas are a matching top and bottom set. The location is perfect, and there is a machine on the first floor to cook ramen, so we enjoyed delicious ramen. Highly recommend — I want to come again!!!!

The place is nice, but my boyfriend ghosted me…
