Urban Island

Thanks to it, we were able to have an enjoyable family trip. The location is very good.

The accommodation itself was very clean and pleasant. It's just a short walk from the property to the beachfront, and there are many restaurants nearby, which was great.

This is the best place to stay around here: clean, well-kept, and parking is no problem. Honestly, other places have a cheap, dated motel vibe, and because of the neighborhood you can hardly get a taxi at night. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and it’s ideal for heading out right after checkout before traffic builds. It combines ocean views, a rooftop, and a neat interior. If you care about little details or gear, you’ll notice the thoughtfulness: a Weber grill at the barbecue area, snacks stocked in the shop, and even decaf coffee. The selection shows a refined, tasteful touch. Seeing an American-made barbecue grill after being used to greasy, cobweb-covered drum grills was actually kind of moving. It is a bit more expensive than the tourist hotels next door, but it’s a hundred times better than staying in a corner room with a garish sign, cheap vinyl flooring, and cherry molding just to save 20,000–30,000 won. Also, the owner is genuinely lovely.

Overall very clean, the bed was big, and it was nice to watch the fire at night. I plan to use it again and will recommend it to people nearby~

Urban Island on Daebudo has a great atmosphere and the rooms were very tidy!! The barbecue area is nice too. If you go to Daebudo, this is the place without question!

My husband and I have been coming to Daebudo every year since we were dating to experience the mudflats, and this time we tried Urban Island for the first time instead of our usual place. It’s close to the sea so getting around was easy, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby, so the location is great. Above all, the cleanliness was spotless and I felt good as soon as we walked in 🥺👍 It was convenient to have an outdoor faucet so we could wash up right after visiting the mudflats. On the rooftop barbecue, they even handed out things like water parsley and teriyaki skewers, which made us even more satisfied. These small touches made the stay more memorable. There was plenty of parking, and the staff and owner were all friendly, so we had a relaxing time. They also sent helpful informational texts at the right times, which gave the impression that everything is well managed. If we come back, we will definitely stay here again! ** You need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and shower towel.

The facilities are good, and it seems hard to find a place this good on Daebudo. The owner is extremely kind and texted to explain everything one by one. I visited with my girlfriend and she was completely satisfied. We will probably stay here again when we come to Daebudo. Thank you~~!
