Busan Newsis Gwangalli Hotel

First, for the price it was a place I did not want to go. Second, the room I booked was different from the photos; it looked like a cheap room. Third, there was a bad smell. Fourth, I already paid 200,000 won to stay, but had to pay extra for all toiletries + check-out at 11 AM. Fifth, the bed is cheap. The one I use at home cost 3,000,000 won, and you can feel the springs on the side. You should probably prepare everything before coming. Also, I lost my enthusiasm about staying.

I stay here about once every month or two when I have a business trip to Busan. It has great value and is convenient for going to the water park, so I always use this place. However, it seemed like the room had been used for day-stays before check-in—cleaning was incomplete in several spots and there were traces on the sheets, which was unpleasant. I had to go to a meeting right after check-in and came back late, so I didn’t ask for a change. I ended up sleeping in a corner of the bed and checking out early. I usually avoid day-stay rooms, but I used this hotel because I had good memories of it. If this keeps happening, I’ll be reluctant to come back next time. Also, the kettle lid was broken so it felt unclean and inconvenient to use. Since affordable replacements are widely available these days, could you consider replacing it?

Overall it was okay, but my husband felt the same way—the bed was uncomfortable so we couldn’t sleep well. The staff were friendly.

It was so warm and clean I could have slept on the floor! The location is excellent, highly recommended for anyone sensitive to noise!! There is no hotel with better value than this.

This is not a hotel but a clean motel. I was a bit surprised by the front desk staff's flustered appearance. My first visit left a slightly negative first impression. I stayed here because it was convenient for going to Gwangalli Sea World in the morning during a business trip. The stay went well for the low price. I will consider revisiting next time.
