The accommodation was spacious and I had a good rest.
I booked this place last minute to go to Muju Deogyusan. The family hotel building is quite old and the facilities are worn. The window frames and general cleaning were acceptable, but in less visible places like drawers, the kitchen, and behind the curtains there was dust and old stains, which was a bit disappointing. It was peak season and the two-night rate was not cheap, which made it worse. The heating is intense—if you set the temperature high it feels like a sauna; I recommend around 21°C. The floor heating is no joke; above 23°C it gets too hot to sleep. The bathroom had strong drafts, so I used a nearby sauna to shower. It was spacious and nice, but there were many shortcomings. I probably would not revisit.
