Overall it's clean. It's not a place with a good view, and parking is inconvenient.
You ruined my family's mood thanks to you! The male owner could have explained the extra charge clearly, but he acted like he didn't care. When I asked why, he opened his eyes wide and acted like he wanted to pick a fight.. Of course the Yanolja agent wasn't great either — maybe fully MZ generation? They couldn't follow the context of the conversation and sounded like an immature kid, so it piled on, but I held back and went back to talk it over. He again pretended not to know, cut me off, and made a sour face, which was very, very unpleasant. If you're going to wear your annoyance and bad mood all over your face and act arrogantly for no reason, why not just use kiosk check-in... or seriously, why are you even sitting there? It seems like you just want to pick fights... If you are the owner and you don't even know what you registered... haha If you want to defend your pride so much, don't work in customer service haha He didn't even say goodbye when we left the room, seriously haha How old are you... I believe people should act their age. As you get older you shouldn't be more proud, stubborn, or petulant. Watching that male owner made me resolve not to grow up like that. Thanks for that very good~~~ realization, really, thank you, male owner!! lol If I usually don't write reviews, imagine how mad I was to leave one now. If I'd known this, I would have gone somewhere better... Anyway, everyone reading this, do not go!! Don't spend money and end up in a bad mood!! I recommend not going to Hotel Berit!!
📍Very clean - Staff are friendly (especially the person who helps with parking) - Sea view if the weather is good Recommended: walking travelers - Central Market is within walking distance / Expo Tower / Cheongcho Lake / Chilseong Shipyard are accessible There is a bookstore just 10 seconds away, highly recommended! (Munwoo-dang Bookstore) There are two convenience stores right in front (They have most everyday items) Breakfast is available 👍 Drawbacks: light sleepers may not sleep well - Soundproofing is lacking. You get startled whenever a neighbor closes their door - The bed is uncomfortable (okay if you sleep alone) Parking - You have to take the elevator down to park (because of the car... 😅) This is a bit annoying... SUVs can park in the outside lot

Parking was a bit unusual. It would be good to have prior notice.
I stayed comfortably. An elderly gentleman who seemed to be the owner greeted me with a bright smile, so my trip started off pleasantly.
I found this place on Instagram and decided to stay. Maybe because it is newly built, the accommodation was clean. Also, the bathroom and the entrance area were heated. A small downside: the rinsing cup for brushing teeth was not washed and had grime^^ The bus stop is a 3–5 minute walk at an elementary school child’s pace, Cheongcho Lake is a 10-minute walk, and Sokcho Central Market is a 15–20 minute walk. There is Dong-A Bookstore behind the property and another bookstore in front, with plenty to see and eat nearby. It is a convenient location for walkers like me. These days many places operate unmanned, but the owner stays at the front desk and greets guests coming and going, so I felt reassured knowing any issues would be handled quickly. However, the breakfast could be improved. I have stayed at many places offering simple breakfasts, but this is the first where coffee was not provided and there was no fruit at all^^ Even just a banana or a tomato would have been nice. I was surprised that coffee was not included and you had to buy it despite the discount. Aside from that, it is a pretty good place. I will come again.
