Fairfield by Marriott Busan Songdo Beach

The best accommodation in Songdo in 16 years.

It started with the smell and ended with the smell. I do not want to leave a racist comment, but… It seems many guests come from a certain country. The smell that made my head hurt at the hotel... after checking in I went to Busan Station and that same smell hit me from a certain group of travelers, lol... it's hard to talk about but I think everyone knows. They will probably be the most common foreign guests in 2026? A really unusual, strange smell is soaked into the fabrics. Even when the hotel used an air purifier and took other measures, it absolutely would not go away, haha. I don't think I'll stay here again, sorry. I actually recommended this place to others but I regret it, sob. I definitely won't do that again. Besides that, I was disappointed by the quality of the breakfast and the service response after coming back here for the first time in years. It has many stars but it does not live up to them!

An ocean view that looks like a lake and a sea, a neat breakfast that makes you want to try everything. The friendly service leaves no complaints. We even took a beach walk the next day~~ Had a great time with friends^^ Thank you 👍 The photos only show the ocean view taken from the room^^

The hotel is close to the bus stop, so it's great for travelers on foot! The staff were friendly and responsive. The elevator, hallways, and room were all clean. The room is not large, but I felt the space was used well in many ways. The best part was being able to lie on the wide, plush sofa and comfortably enjoy the floor-to-ceiling ocean view! 👍 It's a bit disappointing that there is no bidet and the water pressure is weak, but hot water worked fine. Soundproofing was good too. The air conditioning was strong even in unexpected heat~^^ Overall, I'm satisfied! If I visit Songdo again, I would stay here again.

A hotel with the best view of Songdo Beach that feels different by day and night. There is a water purifier in the room (bottled water not provided), an ice machine on the 3rd floor is available, and bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
