There is an elevator. The price was way too expensive.
The accommodation feels quite old.
Very satisfied Thank you
The owner was kind.
The water pressure is good and it's clean.
I had a quiet, restful stay during the holiday period. Hwangji Pond being a 1-minute walk away was nice.
I hurried there to get a good rest, and it was surprisingly clean and the staff were friendly~ Hwangji Pond was also a 1-minute walk away~! I returned feeling refreshed.
It's fine for one night; it would be nice if they remodeled.
I booked this on the day before as an impromptu trip to Taebaek with my boyfriend. I made the reservation because many reviews said the owner was kind. I also liked that the owner replied to reviews. But after staying there I was a bit shocked by several things, so I'm leaving this review. The parking lot is cramped (there is another designated parking lot behind the building). When I asked at the front desk where to park, the owner personally got in her car and showed us the way. But the road to the back of the building is one-way, and she told us to drive the wrong way down it. On the way down that one-way street she said her building was built first and insulted the other buildings, saying they all paid the city money, and told us there is nothing to do in Taebaek and asked why we even came. Cars kept coming in, and since reversing on that road would hold up the cars behind us, we asked, "It's a one-way street—can we go around instead?" She said it would be a waste of gas to go around and that if we went in here it would be quick, then muttered as we turned around. We were almost there and there were no cars coming now, but she grumbled. When we checked out I noticed a sign saying CCTV is recording. I don't know what that CCTV is for, but even if there really had been no camera, I've never seen an owner tell guests to drive the wrong way down a one-way street. That is far from being simply "kind." My boyfriend and I travel domestically often, and we've never stayed somewhere I would call poor—this was the first time. At night there were people yelling while drunk, the bathroom only provided shampoo and body wash (no conditioner), and the interior was just ordinary. Because of the owner's comment about there being nothing to do in Taebaek and asking why we came, I probably won't come to Taebaek again, so I'm leaving this review..! Since the owner runs a business in the area, speaking ill of the region is hard to view positively.

I like it hehehehehe
