Sono Calm Sokcho

The room was spacious and the bedding was clean. The lake view from the room was very relaxing and nice. There was no noise in the room, so I had a quiet, restful stay.

We always use this when traveling with family.

Sokcho PineRize Resort shows signs of the passage of time, but the surrounding environment is nice and the maintenance is satisfactory. They use charcoal indoors, so there is little odor, and when you wake up in the morning the fresh surrounding air is really pleasant. It is located away from downtown so you must travel by car, which can be inconvenient, but being close to nature makes it a healing time during the trip.

I am always satisfied whenever I come. It is clean and quiet. Although it is an older property, there are very few places that are maintained this consistently.

I agree it is an ideal accommodation for a family trip, but there are 52-pyeong units with either 3 or 2 rooms, which was disappointing. There was no notice about first-come, first-served check-in assignment. Still, the room was very pleasant and we had a great time ♡

It is nice that cooking is possible. The cleanliness was lacking. There was a lot of dust in the corners. Okay for an inexpensive stay if you do not expect much.
