Tongyeong Dolchae

Highly recommend as a cost-effective place to stay for a Tongyeong trip! Even during the golden holiday, they didn't inflate the price. The room was clean, the bed was soft, and the landlady was kind!! She even upgraded the room for us and we rested well!!

I stayed in the top room on the 4th floor too. At night a strong draft kept coming in, the window was shaking, and I thought a ghost was coming in. Then I saw even the curtains were shaking… The draft is that strong, and the owner kept saying it would warm up soon… It was extremely cold. Early in the morning a dog on the same 4th floor kept barking… ㅡㅡ I almost had to pay more in hospital bills.

1. A dog barks in the hallway. 2. The owner (female) wasn't ready to run the place, and she gave us the top floor claiming it was the warmest room. There is no elevator. I can understand that, but the outside draft is too severe. If my room was the warmest, the other rooms would have been freezing to death.
