I booked while looking for a hotel with good value, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and the staff were friendly... The free breakfast let me start the day with a hearty meal and continue my trip, which was great. I want to recommend it to my friends~ ^^
The access to Wolmido Theme Park is excellent. However, as soon as you get off in the basement level 1 parking lot you see piles of discarded furniture and trash, and there are dusty, non-working machines in front of the elevator. In the room the carpet felt sticky like you would have to wear slippers, and even though both covers were supposed to be white, the pillowcases were so yellowed compared to the duvet that I felt sorry for the children who came with us. In case some people say "then go to a better hotel," I want to add this because I was worried about that reaction: We checked out of Paradise City Hotel on Yeongjongdo at 11 AM the same day, had lunch in Chinatown, and then came over. Our child wanted to ride the Wolmido Disco Pang Pang they saw on YouTube, and since it was my first time visiting Wolmido I did not know the area was so run-down. I booked this place because it was the most decent-looking available option with the shortest distance to the theme park. I have no intention of returning.
It was during the Lunar New Year holiday so I was worried there might be no rooms, but it was very good for the price. It was a fun spontaneous one-night trip.
