Jeonju Hotel Advance

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. However, it's a shame the computer specs are low. The computer freezes occasionally.

I saw on Instagram and thought Hotel Torang was just a name change and came after reading reviews, but if the hotel does not offer room service, shouldn't reviews that show room service be removed? Many people like me probably come because of that; this feels wrong. Also, I booked a 2 PC room, but the PCs can't run LoL or StarCraft. It's not just a specs issue — they need maintenance. For the price, it was a really unpleasant stay.

I checked in at 3 PM on Saturday, and even then there was constant pounding from the room above — it was so loud the floor almost shook (I actually felt vibrations). I thought it would be brief and tried to tolerate it. I had a consecutive stay through Monday, so I went to bed late on Sunday planning to sleep in, but starting at 10 AM there was nonstop banging and grinding for more than two hours and I literally could not sleep. I called the front desk and they asked if I was checking out now. When I said I had a consecutive stay, they replied, “There is demolition work upstairs so it’s noisy because it’s directly below,” like it was something I should already have known..? How would I know ㅠㅠ Owner, didn’t you know about this and still assign us this room? That’s the issue. They told me to endure it, saying “it will be finished in an hour,” and when I asked if it would be the same on Monday they said it would be done on Sunday... yet Monday had the same loud banging and grinding. Why do construction on the weekend? ㅠㅠㅜㅜㅜㅠ I paid extra to book for the weekend and every morning I was sleep-deprived and stressed. I came from far away after seeing an ad on Instagram, but I guess I shouldn’t have trusted it.. I paid a lot for a precious weekend and there was no notice about demolition. Without knowing, we were assigned the floor directly under the work and I kept losing sleep — I’m still furious about it. They said it would be finished on Sunday and not on Monday, but even on the day we checked out they did construction from 11 AM until check-out time. They didn’t change our room and left us staying there knowing construction was happening, which is unbelievable.

I was on a business trip and had a very good, restful stay.

I booked a 2pc veranda room, but room service had been discontinued without prior notice. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, so I arrived at 3, but the internet was malfunctioning and the technician said he would come at 5:00 PM with no prior notice. The person who spoke to me had taken leave and returned, so even if they learned of the situation that day, the previous staff either failed to hand over or forgot — I don't know. Customer treatment was terrible. I understand the self-serve bar is shared with others, but its hygiene was awful. I will never go again. The room interior and the computer were nice, but everything else was the worst. I went because I saw Dokgeodok's reels, and honestly I wasted my money and my mood.
