The Heaven Resort

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but the room maintenance was very poor. The breakfast and dinner were mediocre, the pool was small, and the sauna was small....;; Also, there were no blackout curtains so it was uncomfortable, and the bedding and bed felt uncomfortably low quality for a supposed 7-star??
The resort is only a few years old, so the facilities and room condition are clean and in good shape. The view is nice. However, the operations are not smooth. At check-in they had guests write their names on a handwritten waiting list and call names, which caused congestion. The wait was over 40 minutes. There was no common numbered ticket system, which was disappointing. Breakfast was chaotic even though it was a buffet; dishes were not replenished in time and they clearly needed more staff. The food was just so-so. The entry line right next to the dining tables in the restaurant was inconvenient during meals. The breakfast restaurant, Glass House, also offers dinner, and we ordered room service, but the food quality did not match the price. There are no other restaurants in the resort, so there was no choice, which was disappointing. In a room for four, only two pairs of slippers were provided, so we needed extras, but the resort said they would not provide more. The slippers were more like indoor slippers rather than bathroom slippers, and they were not sold at a convenience store nearby. Even considering it was a holiday and we paid about twice the normal rate, the service did not reflect that.
The accommodation was very spacious for our family of four and we loved it. The ocean view from the open living room is amazing. We were satisfied with the pool and the breakfast. It was winter so we stayed inside, but I think it would be even nicer to return in warm weather for walks. I might visit again~~~
