It was great. Good soundproofing and clean.
The special breakfast was nice and the room was clean.
Camel was my choice for accommodation in Sokcho without hesitation. This is my third visit. As mentioned in the property description and other reviews, the bedding (and mattress) here is really great. Not too firm, not too soft. Soft and fluffy. I rested well again this year. I'll have to go again next summer. I drove straight after work and arrived at 10 PM, so I forgot to take photos and have none to include in the review.
It was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, so it felt like a shame to stay only one day~
This is my nth visit. I had a good rest.
The facilities are very clean. The breakfast was also very tasty and enjoyable.

Stayed for several nights and rested comfortably without any issues!! The staff and the owner were both friendly and the lake view from the room is pure art.. wow … I kept going back and forth in the room and really enjoyed the view 👍🏻👍🏻 I know the mattress info so I could check that out, but could you tell me where the pillow is from..? lol After coming home and sleeping on it, my whole body feels like I got beaten up Planning to revisit on my next Sokcho trip 345000012111x
This is the place I always book when I go to Sokcho. Even without a car, transportation is convenient, so there is no trouble getting around, and the bedding is especially nice, so travel fatigue is pretty minimal. Cleaning is a bit lacking at times, but overall I recommend this accommodation.
I have visited several times. Sometimes it feels like a 2-star hotel. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is a breakfast event where you can have a boiled egg, toast, and cup ramen.
Rooms are equipped only with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Please prepare personal disposable items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste in advance.
As part of the government's 'Re:think' campaign to reduce disposable item usage, our hotel does not provide amenities
Check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
If you require early check-in or late check-out, please inquire at the front desk in advance.
An additional fee of 10,000 KRW per hour will be charged, and extension may not be possible depending on room availability.
The front desk operates from 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
Guests arriving or with reservations after 11:00 PM can check in using the kiosk.
Even if online sales close at 11:00 PM, available rooms can still be accessed via the kiosk.
If the hotel parking lot is full, you can use the public parking lot behind the hotel [Expo 4th Public Parking Lot] for free.
On weekends and holidays, the parking lot of the [Workers' Comprehensive Welfare Center] across from the hotel can also be used for free.
All rooms at Hotel Camel are designated as non-smoking. Smoking in rooms is subject to a fine of up to 100,000 KRW in accordance with the National Health Promotion Act.
Consumption of crustaceans and strongly odorous foods (such as king crab, skate) is prohibited in rooms. We appreciate your consideration for the next guest.
Multi-night stay cleaning is provided between 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, only for rooms where the [Make-up Room] card is hung outside the door before 11:00 AM without the room key inserted. You must vacate the room between 11:00 AM–3:00 PM. Alternatively, you can stay comfortably and then visit the front desk after 3:00 PM to receive towels and water.
All rooms operate with an individual heating and cooling system, and air conditioning and heating temperatures can be individually controlled by devices attached to the wall near the bed head and entrance of each room.
Compensation will be charged for damage to room amenities or their removal from the premises, and an additional production fee of 10,000 KRW will be charged for lost or damaged room key cards.
The 1st floor cafe is always available, while the 3rd floor cafe is reserved for guests using 3rd floor rooms and is open from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
