I had a good rest. Thank you.
I booked because there were no motels available in Chungju, but this is the worst place I've stayed at so far. I wonder if the reviews were manipulated. Mold is everywhere, and the comforter was microfiber — shouldn't that have been replaced? I had just finished showering when a cockroach ran across the floor~;; I trusted the reviews, but this is the worst. I'm so disappointed.
Accommodation Introduction
: Our accommodation covers a total area of 500 pyeong. The spacious parking lot, which extends from the entrance to the guest rooms, offers unlimited parking for large vehicles such as buses, RVs, and trucks. You can also enjoy—even if only briefly—the combination of old-growth pine trees and the lush forest path that stretches from the entrance beyond the guest rooms.
We’ve redesigned the guest rooms with a simple layout, ensuring they are fully functional as accommodations so that we can focus entirely on providing you with a comfortable stay.
Our hot water pressure is quite strong, and the hot water comes out in the blink of an eye (slight exaggeration^^;).
We clean your room daily, even for consecutive nights or long-term stays, and restock necessary amenities, bottled water, and beverages to the specified quantities.(This is the owner’s principle and a point of emphasis.)
We will remain committed to the basics until not a single guest ever comments that it was “a little too hot” in summer or “a little too cold” in winter.
Finally, we will charge only reasonable fees—excluding unnecessary amenities—and focus solely on fulfilling our role as a sanctuary where you can enjoy both rest and a good night’s sleep.

An Interesting Anecdote About Shangri-La
Although this is news I’ve already posted on Naver, I’ll share it again.
A famous remark left by a guest we hosted while checking in the other day!
“Double Gorilla~~~~~ Motel . . .” (hahahaha)
When I asked what they meant, it turned out that while they usually drive confidently without a GPS and knew exactly how to get here from the Dongchungju IC, our name had them completely confused...Hmm...
Sangria, Sanglia, Sanggeriya~ (Is it a three-way intersection or what? lol)... Ah! Ha! Shangri-La
They said that the more they repeated it, the more “Ssang Gorilla” naturally popped into their head.
Strangely enough, “Shang” became “Ssang” and “Grilla” became “Gorilla,” so when you swap them around, you don’t get confused while driving. Since the first consonants match, you figured you could just head to the place with two gorillas. You whispered to us that you felt quite proud of yourself, chuckling to yourself, and that you were able to arrive feeling incredibly relaxed the whole way there, haha.
I, too, tried repeating it to myself, and I have to say, it really is a brilliant word, don’t you think? ^^
