Sokcho Marine Motel

It's very close to Daepo Port, so it's a good place to stay if you plan to drink at Daepo Port. However, the facilities are old and it feels a bit like a youth hostel. The cleaner even opened the door before check-out time, so when other guests are staying it's better to keep the inner door closed while sleeping.
I rested so comfortably!!
Worst ever I came alone to fish, checked in and when I went in there was a pungent fishy smell. What's that yellow stuff on the bed? Why is the window sealed with cement? It was room 203. I can usually sleep anywhere, but this was unacceptable. My impression of Sokcho has also gotten worse, and from now on I'll just sleep at a hotel. This place is not it. Please refer to this review before booking. Just sleep outside.

Unlike other establishments, at Marine Motel, we immediately replace the bedding in rooms that have been checked out that day and send it to a laundry facility for washing, drying, and sanitizing.

We’re located in the heart of Daepo Port, home to many of Sokcho’s best restaurants, and near Oeongchi Port, famous for its traditional seafood restaurants. Plus, we’re just a 10-minute walk from Sokcho Beach—which is currently all the rage thanks to its giant Ferris wheel! :)
After dining at the best sashimi and grilled shellfish restaurants in Daepo Port and strolling along Sokcho Beach, you’ll naturally think, “This is what a vacation is all about!”
Marine Motel meets all the criteria you’d expect from a vacation spot, and we always strive to provide clean rooms at reasonable prices—free from the typical tourist area markups :)
