I chose this place again because I had good memories from my previous visit. Maybe those memories were idealized, because this one-night stay was disappointing. They charged 1,000 won each for toothbrushes, but they gave toothpaste as a freebie. Calling it a budget option is a stretch — the price I booked at was much higher than what I found on other sites, where it was listed for nearly half off. Compare prices before you book! The bathroom door was broken... The air conditioner usage was not explained at check-in and there was no instruction in the room, so I had to call to find out. It isn’t controlled by a remote but from the wall, and temperature is centrally controlled so they told me to turn it off and sleep. When I tried to sleep the air conditioner was making very loud noises, so I ended up turning it off. When I called the front desk I remembered that the intercom at the front desk was not working, so I used a personal phone to call. The hair iron seems to be broken too — it shuts off as soon as you turn it on. Even though breakfast time wasn’t over, there was no rice or side dishes left. I tried to eat a little of what was left, but the dishes were quite salty. Oh! The room itself was relatively clean at least. I come to the countryside often, but I’m not sure I would come back here...
