I came for work, but it was also relaxing. The building is old but well maintained—the bedding was fresh and dry, there was a clothes styler, and each room has password-protected private Wi-Fi, so it’s really great for business trips. Above all, it’s quiet! I took a walk around the lake at dawn.
The garden views are beautiful, and it’s a great place for a walk.
It’s a small, older hotel, but the beautiful landscaping and clean interior are very satisfying.

If you don't expect much, it's pretty good. There are walking paths and the air is nice. I haven't used the other rooms so I don't know, but basically you should think of it as just a single room.
I booked because I remembered the landscaping was so pretty in spring, but I'm disappointed. The rooms are not soundproof, it's cold, the room is cramped, and the air conditioner has mold so you can't use it for heating. Having a Styler is a nice plus.
The garden is very nice. Overall, this is a hotel with good value.
