... Even if it's a promotion... it leaves me speechless. It's probably mostly my fault for choosing poorly, though.

This was the only available room that day so I booked this place in a hurry. The accommodation was pretty shocking. 1. They charge a 3,000 won supply fee. Having visited several motels in Gongju, some do not provide supplies, and this place was about 5,000 won cheaper than other cheap places, so I let it slide. 2. The room had clearly not been cleaned. It looked like they did not clean after the previous guest at all. The comforter was thrown about and there was a lot of hair on the bed. It felt like maintenance had been neglected for a long time. I complained and asked them to clean the room, and they did clean, but they only lightly removed some dust and hair from the comforter and bed. For reference, my girlfriend and I both have strong stomachs and consider ourselves very tolerant about hotel hygiene. We have stayed at many places. This was the dirtiest. Even after they cleaned, the condition was severe: the floor of the room was full of hair and dust. 3. The checkout time on the counter is different from the actual checkout time. Don’t hotels usually call the room when checkout time is approaching? The counter clearly stated checkout was until 12:00, so we left around 11:55, but they suddenly told us we had missed checkout and demanded a 10,000 won checkout fee. OTA sites like Yanolja say checkout is 11:00. The counter did not inform us of this. They boldly posted only the notice about checkout until 12:00... and we got charged 10,000 won. If anyone reads this review, be sure to check out by 11:00 to avoid extra charges. In conclusion, I booked for 35,000 won but ended up sleeping in the worst-condition room after paying 48,000 won. I will never visit again. Even if this is the only option when booking, I probably would not stay here. Do not come unless it is an emergency, and don’t be tempted by the cheap price. Rather endure and go elsewhere or pay more for a better place.

I went there and the room condition was bad. It wasn't cleaned, the comforter and pillow weren't washed, it's hopeless. The shower had no hot water so I had to take a cold shower. Only shampoo and body wash are provided; you have to buy other items. The air conditioner is dirty.

I use motels a lot for work but this is the worst. I booked a random special deal and they said the room has no TV. I've never heard of a room without a TV. Even local guesthouses all have TVs, right? In the end I paid an extra 10,000 won and upgraded to a regular room. The hot water only comes after running it for a long time. I don't know if it was the next room, but the voices sounded like fairly young men. They were noisy at dawn, talking and laughing, and there were dragging sounds or something — it was so loud it woke me up and I left. There are many motels nearby. This one is not good.

Good value and fine for staying just one night.
