Overall the hotel feels old. The bathroom is outside the main room. I chose it for the sauna, but the sauna door is a glass door and the heat escapes through the gaps, so the temperature would not rise above about 40°C. Maybe the owner has become lax and does not perform inspections. If a room is labeled as a sauna, shouldn't the sauna be checked regularly to ensure it is working properly? Also, this hotel claims to have hot spring water, but the bathtub felt unclean. The drain in the tub was discolored orange and there were many black scratches on the bathtub floor. Having a sauna in the room was very novel, but it was quite disappointing.

Whether it is a hanok or not, why is the cleaning in such a state? The wallpaper was yellowed and there was not even a toilet seat cover. On top of that, aside from the basics like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, they provided nothing for washing or cleanliness. That implies they did not consider guests at all. At the very least they should provide basic toiletries and a shower towel, right? They did not note this on Yanolja before booking.
