Breakfast was available, but the common area door was locked even at 9 AM. There was no trash can and no refrigerator, and to get food or drinks you have to go to the common area, but they close the door early and open it late, which was very inconvenient.
It was a holiday so nearby accommodations were expensive, and I chose this as one of the cheaper options, but since our check-in was late we planned just to sleep... (I don't know—whether 130,000 won is cheap or reasonable depends on the person.) As soon as we arrived, they scolded us for checking in late and said we should have called, even though nothing about that was mentioned in the listing. They said that 2–3 times and I felt bad from that point on. We booked just to sleep, but when we entered the room there was a strong bleach smell. I asked if we could change rooms, and they said ridiculous things like the smell will go away if you shower or sprinkle water. If they had cleaned, they should have ventilated; the bleach smell came from inside the bedroom and gave me a bad headache. I forced myself to sleep, but between the bleach smell, the stifling feeling, and a sore throat, and because the room was so small it didn't ventilate well, I couldn't sleep properly. Also, there was no refrigerator in the room, so when we had no water and asked about it, the reply was a baffling “you would know if you read our reviews.” The female staff at the counter seemed unwilling to work and was very rude. They didn't give us any guidance at check-in, so I don't understand why they answered like that. I hope this helps people reading reviews.
I could tell the owner cared about the place. They paid attention to amenities, so I used them without much discomfort. I stayed in a first-floor room and the soundproofing was fine! The small room was a great value. If I come to Gyeongju again, I want to stay here again and I will definitely recommend it to others nearby. The room was very clean, and the location was very good. They provided breakfast, and you could also help yourself to Hangang ramen. Some people steal disposable bowls, so sometimes there may be a shortage of dishes, but there was a pot and a kitchen so we could cook. Thanks to the friendly owner, we had a great stay and a wonderful trip!
The room was small but clean and nice. However, there is no elevator and there was no refrigerator in the room, which was disappointing! Amenities like water, instant noodles, and the massage chair were good, but having to go get water by using the stairs... not easy It was a perfectly central location for getting to nearby places, within walking distance, which was nice!!!!
Room cleanliness and service were the worst. The front desk is always unmanned and contacting them is extremely inconvenient. There was a blunt post-it saying they take medicine and sleep during the day so they wake up late. Even when I came in the evening there was never anyone.
First, parking is extremely inconvenient. If you have double or triple parking, either have guests submit their car keys so you can move cars, or make a system for it. The drivers of the cars in front and beside did not answer their phones, so I told the owner and he told me to have the other guests handle it themselves!!! His response made me very upset. The condition of the accommodation was not bad. Please pay attention next time so someone like me does not experience this.
The facilities are clean and the breakfast is good.
The accommodation was smaller than I expected but fine for resting. The location is very good; I enjoyed viewing the cherry blossoms.
It was not bad. The breakfast is good.
Pros The room was remodeled so it was clean; hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was strong. You can control the room temperature, so I was able to sleep warmly even though I had a slight cold. Check the temperature controller in the last photo to find it. They said a simple breakfast is prepared from 0:00, so if you leave very early in the morning, be sure to take it with you. The location is convenient—close to the central market and Hwangridan-gil—so it’s great for sightseeing. If you arrive early they will store your luggage, so you can hang out comfortably before check-in. Guest notes The accommodation provides shampoo, treatment, body wash, body lotion, hair oil, a comb, a hair dryer, and a gown. Bring everything else yourself. There is no refrigerator in the room. Take water and drinks from the refrigerator in the shared kitchen on the first floor into your room. Also, speaking quietly does not carry into other rooms, but if you raise your voice a little you can hear the next room. In particular, moaning from another room was so loud that the upstairs neighbors stomped to ask them to be quiet. In the end, the other room reduced the volume after someone responded in kind, but please refrain from vigorous activity or loud moaning.

Please check the occupancy standard for each room. An additional fee will be charged for extra guests.
