Overall it was clean and the view was nice.
We planned a quick trip to Byeonsanbando for clamming and booked this place in a hurry. To get to the room you have to take the elevator and then use stairs, so moving luggage was inconvenient. As soon as we entered the room there was a very strong mildew and medicated-patch-like smell. We kept the windows open the whole time and had to reluctantly close them to sleep. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable, and the smell kept me awake. The bathroom water pressure is strong, and there is a ping-pong table so the kids had fun. But the mildew smell is just too strong.
The barbecue area seems way too expensive—I did not use it. Indoor cooking is almost impossible. Warning notices about possible eviction are posted everywhere and were very uncomfortable; it felt like they do not want guests to eat inside because the sink had no hot water. The owner is kind.
We rested well during our trip.
