Mokpo 1897

I stopped by briefly before taking the ferry to Jeju Island. It was clean and nice.

Good location and quite clean.

Many people come to Mokpo. Jeollanam-do is a place with good food, so I visit often.~ I had a hard time booking this accommodation. There is no elevator, but it was remodeled so it was clean. However, the mattress is worse than a studio bed mattress—really awful. I couldn't sleep at all. Owner, you can buy a single mattress on Coupang for not much, about 80,000–90,000 won, and with a topper it's fine and soft. But the motel mattress sinks to the side when you sit and sinks when you lie down, and the springs creak—think about it: a place to stay should be comfortable for sleeping. You remodeled nicely, but the mattress being a mess leaves no good impression. Even after a long drive and drinking, I could not sleep a wink. I wrote this hoping the owner does well. My post may seem resentful now, but if you just change the mattress it would become a good place. Also, owner, the TV remote does not work well because of reflection from the mirror and the set-top box being attached behind the mirror; it seems like the remodeling, especially the interior work, was done by a novice or DIY? The remote recognition is so poor that changing the batteries probably won't help. Please take note. I sincerely wish you success and prosperity.

I kept worrying while sleeping that the mattress would creak or give way. If they replace the mattress with a better one, I think it would be fine.

The owner was friendly It's clean.

It was a bit disappointing that there was no elevator.

It was cozy and warm, and I had a good rest.
