Mungyeong Secret Hot Spring

This was my first visit to Mungyeong for my husband's business trip. I chose this place based on reviews because it is close to the hot spring complex where he had business. Because it is a drive-through with one parking spot per room, there was no worry about parking and it was convenient to load luggage into the car. The room was spacious so it did not feel cramped. I liked that there was an air purifier, a sofa, a table, and a large table for placing luggage. Disposable items were all provided, there was plenty of bottled water in the fridge, and there was a bathtub so I could do a half-body soak with the hot spring water which helped relieve my fatigue. Restaurants and a convenience store are a bit of a walk but not far, so they are within walking distance. It was especially quiet so I could hear birds and it felt healing. Staying consecutive nights was comfortable with no inconveniences—slept deeply and well. I want to visit again next time I come to Mungyeong for sightseeing.

This was our 2-night, 3-day stay for my husband's business trip. We chose it after reading reviews and checking the location. Secret~~ One room, one parking spot made it an even bigger pick. When we arrived at the entrance and called via the intercom, the owner told us which unit to go to, so we drove there. The barrier went up, we parked, went up one floor, and checked in. The room is large, there is an air purifier, and because it is a hot spring area there is a bathtub. Having a table and sofa made it easy to eat simple meals. Disposable supplies were provided, bathroom supplies are shared, and a toothbrush was provided. There was plenty of bottled water in the fridge which I liked. You need to walk a bit from the accommodation to get to restaurants and the convenience store, but it is close enough to walk so it was not inconvenient. When going out you press a button to lock and unlock; it was a bit glitchy the first time, but by the next day we understood it so we did not have to carry the key and it was convenient. There was an electric heated mattress pad, and because it rained heavily on the nights we stayed, turning it on made it warm and pleasant. The area was quiet so I slept soundly. The hot water takes a little while to come out but once it does the water pressure is fine. We spent the two nights comfortably and slept well. It was an accommodation I would recommend.

The owner sent a message in advance explaining how to check in, and the room was very large. My husband and I wanted to enjoy the hot spring so we did a lot of searching and were very satisfied. The hot spring water was really nice and the spa worked well. The bed was comfortably soft; both my husband and I were satisfied. Since it was not a non-smoking room there was an ashtray, but there was an air purifier instead. If there is no 100% satisfaction, my two minor (personal) complaints are: the light in front of the vanity was too weak, so applying makeup was a bit difficult. I held back because I was worried it would be too heavy. The other issue is that although they said the computer specs were good, I was disappointed because it could not even connect to the internet. The TV was nice because you could log in to Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc. with your own account and watch. I had planned to go with our child and checked the computer specs, but the child canceled so it was just the two of us, which turned out to be a relief. We rested well. I will visit Mungyeong again. Finally, perhaps because the hot spring water was so good, after showering I did not apply body lotion and my skin was exfoliated and smooth. Please keep this in mind for other travelers ^^

Everything was fine, but the shower water pressure in the bathroom was too weak, which was inconvenient... It looked like water was leaking from the shower hose, so I hope you check that and replace it.
