Donghae Hotel Java

I stayed comfortably in a quiet location. It would have been so nice that I would have wanted to stay multiple nights on a Gangneung trip if it had been closer, but because of my itinerary I only stayed one night. I'll use it again when I plan my next trip~ The scent of the body cleanser here is absolutely amazing.

Clean and nice!!

Room 206 open-special: Yanolja, YeoGiOtta open-special. I booked the room for two separate nights through each app, thinking the first night I would sleep and the second night the open-special room would be cleaned, but I received a one-sided answer that it was treated as consecutive nights in the same room. The room was not cleaned. They had taken all our luggage out and when we returned and asked for the room number, they said it was processed as an extended stay so they did not clean the room. We had separate reservations via YeoGiOtta and Yanolja, so we were puzzled that the open-special became a consecutive stay. We never requested consecutive nights. They did provide towels and toothbrushes, which was strange, but since the room was not cleaned we put our luggage back in and used the same room. We were disappointed and a little upset. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. We brought two mats from home and the accommodation provided a mosquito mat, so we had three total and plugged them all in. Even after spraying insect repellent, mosquitoes were flying around and we caught them by hand countless times. The bed is high (recommend buying a softer, more comfortable one). My neck was stiff when I woke up and it hurt when I opened my eyes in the morning. The spa did not work properly; the motor ran by itself. Very disappointing.

Overall it was a decent place to stay.

I booked just to sleep while traveling to Donghae, but it was clean and comfortable ^^

I booked it as a cost-effective option since I was arriving late, but it was much better than I expected!! It was clean, and from parking onward you can stay privately so you don't run into other guests, which was great haha

Satisfied with this business trip as well.

I rested well and feel great~~ The water pressure is good. I visit Donghae often and plan to use this place every time I go.
