Gangneung With Hotel (Gangneung Station Branch)

I used a Yanolja discount and was satisfied with the good price. Room condition was clean. Well-managed motel. Simple breakfast provided. Nearby there are nightlife spots, restaurants, and a market.

They upgraded our room condition so we stayed comfortably in a larger room! The room was clean and the bathroom was clean too! There were plenty of supplies stocked in front of the elevator on the 1st floor, so you can grab what you need, and breakfast was provided which was nice. The owner was very kind and it was convenient being close to Jungang Market. I will definitely revisit 100%!!

Thank you for recommending a good hotel. I had a pleasant trip. It is a really nice hotel. I recommend it to anyone who has the chance to go. First, it is close to Gangneung Station (there is currently the Dano Festival in Gangneung). With Hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and breakfast includes simple items like instant ramen, toast, milk, etc.

I used the room the night before and then checked in again, and I cautiously mentioned that the towels smelled so I could not use them. It is not always like that, but this time there was a noticeable odor and the toilet valve was broken. When I told them, the staff member said that could not happen and asked why I did not flush right away, without even apologizing. I thought it was unnecessary to bother them late at night or in the early morning with a one- or two-hour issue. In any case, I mentioned at check-in to note the past problem, but the next day when I checked out, as soon as my phone clock hit 11:00 they were leaving the room and a checkout reminder call came to the room. It was a very unpleasant lodging experience. When I asked at checkout whether they call every room as soon as it is 11:00, they said they usually do. That made me wonder if they ring the phone in all rooms simultaneously at 11:00. The room I stayed in this time had multiple cracks inside the toilet bowl, which makes me worried about a safety accident. Also, if you want to play mind games with an older male staff member, I recommend this place.
