Jeju Olympia

The accommodation is perfectly fine for just sleeping briefly. I stayed multiple nights and they didn't restock towels adequately, T_T. That and the weak water pressure are disappointing.

I took a solo walking trip to Jeju and stayed for 3 nights. Considering the building's age, the cleanliness was generally good except for the floor. It's right in front of the terminal and there are many restaurants, so the location is excellent. It's inexpensive, so I plan to use it again next time.

I used this place about three years ago, so when I booked six nights this time I chose it without hesitation. For travelers on foot, this accommodation offers the best value and location. Since it was my second visit, I already knew about street noise and soundproofing issues, so they were not a problem at all. I brought earplugs just in case, but I didn't use them. Hot water works well. The heating works well too. During cleaning each day the staff replaced two towels and one bottle of water. I was somewhat satisfied three years ago, but the room I was assigned this time had a different layout from the room three years ago and was more comfortable and satisfying. Since I stayed six nights, I wondered if I was given a nicer room. There was so much storage that I unpacked all the items from my suitcase and put them away, and I still didn't even use the under-bed storage. Looking at the photos in other reviews, furniture varies a bit by room, and the room I stayed in this time seemed to have the best storage. I could hear people talking in the hallway during cleaning, but the bathroom cleaning seemed very thorough. The TV supports YouTube, and if you sign in you can use Netflix. If you run low on drinking water, you can fill up from the water dispenser. There did not seem to be a microwave, so please note that. Shampoo, conditioner (?), body wash, toothpaste, and soap are provided in the bathroom. There were a few minor drawbacks, but given the price they didn't matter.
