The bed was round, so it was really unique lol. I had a good rest, thanks hehe.

As soon as I checked in, an older woman—maybe a middle-aged woman, maybe a grandmother—told me to go upstairs, so I went up to unpack and then came back down to check something in my car. She grabbed me and, scanning me up and down, asked where I was going. I thought she might have some short-term memory or cognitive issues but was hardworking. The bathroom door was old and didn’t close well, so there was no ventilation; it was very humid and hot, so I turned on the air conditioner, but it kept shutting off, which I found odd. At midnight she called the room phone and asked if I had the heated pad on while the AC was running. She said if I opened the window it would be cool, so to run the AC moderately. Telling me to sleep with the door open in a row of motels and listen to the noise—well, given her limited cognition I figured that was understandable. I didn’t know she was somehow pulling electricity from the Strait of Hormuz, and I apologized. Luckily the hot water seemed to run 24 hours, which was a relief. Even though her memory wasn’t great, she called 45 minutes before checkout to remind me, and that was really touching. Oh, and one more thing: the parking lot is narrow and crowded, so once you park you may not be able to go back out and come in again. Guests should keep that in mind!

Cleanliness was terrible. An extra charge of 20,000 won at check-in. The room had not been cleaned and the bathtub was unusable. There was a strange smell and ventilation was inadequate. The worst accommodation I've ever stayed at.

I liked it. I recommend it.
