Browndot Busanjin Station, Sujeong-dong, Busan

It was the worst cleaning among the Brown Dot chain locations I have visited. The bathtub had sewage-like water, there was spit on the room floor, and behind the middle door it looked like they never cleaned. A toothpaste amenity that looked like it had been used by someone in a previous time slot was dangling behind the towels. The bedding already had hairs on it before I even lay down, and feeling gross I asked the front desk to replace it, but the replacement bedding was stained as if burned. I never want to go back to the Busanjin Station location.

It's the best. The bed is amazing, the room feels spacious, and the comforter is good.

I turned on the air conditioner and the inside was full of black dust or mold. Hair under the paper cup on the table. Hair on the sink. Water leaking at the shower connection. Disposable items were torn open and the trash was left as is.

I thought the room would be as spacious as in the photos, but it wasn’t, so I was surprised. I rested well and left. The parking lot is narrow.

There is no water dispenser on the first floor; they said to buy water at the convenience store if needed. The room smelled strongly of smoke. Water pressure is strong, which is good, but the temperature suddenly switched to scalding hot. The parking is narrow. There is an air purifier, but it didn’t make the room feel comfortable. OTT services are available and the toilet and shower are separated, which is nice.

They upgraded my room. I went to support at a bereavement house and was able to rest well.

The staff aren’t rude, but they’re not friendly either. Non-guests kept coming and going and talking with the front desk. The shampoo seemed overly diluted, so I asked for a replacement and was told it’s supposed to be like that and to use more. The hairdryer broke, so I requested a replacement and was given one that still worked but looked like it would break soon. Because I stayed four nights I asked for extra towels and amenities, and they told me there is a set number of towels available each day and to come back tomorrow to get more. The TV supports OTT, but it buffers often and eventually stopped working, so I gave up reporting it. Soundproofing is poor: people talking outside at night and thumping noises in the morning kept waking me. Although all rooms are supposedly non-smoking, the hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and it looked like staff were smoking. Two cleaning tool trays were left in the hallway 24/7, blocking passage, and they never moved them.

Clean and quiet even though it's in the city center.

There are staff members at the front desk, so I feel self-conscious every time I go.

I rested well and am leaving.
