I am Park Seong-yeon, the owner of Hotel Yaja Gangneung Station Branch.

To help guests choose accommodation, I will honestly inform you of the pros and cons of our hotel.

All rooms are not generally spacious.

Business rooms are recommended for solo business travelers or young couples.

Modern rooms are slightly more spacious compared to Business rooms and differ in that they have a dry vanity and a bathtub. If you wish to use a bathtub, I recommend this room.

Our VIP Gaming 2PC rooms and Twin rooms are somewhat more spacious and include a styler.

Terrace rooms are recommended as the best rooms, also suitable for parties, as they have exclusive access to the rooftop terrace and a designated smoking area.

If you are looking for a spacious room, I would recommend other hotels, but if you are looking for a hotel where you can watch integrated OTT movies on a large TV in a clean, smoke-free room and sleep comfortably on a high-quality mattress, then our hotel is for you. (PS, if you smoke in the room, please go to another hotel. You will be asked to vacate immediately).

Our hotel's top priority is the guest's good night's sleep. For this, all rooms are strictly non-smoking, and we provide comfortable sleep with the highest quality British Loren Williams KING mattress (premium amenity service).

To provide guests with the highest quality bedding, we have contracted with a professional rental company specializing in total bedding care, ensuring thorough management including washing.

Please use another hotel if you plan to smoke in the room. If smoking is detected in the room at our hotel, guests will be asked to vacate immediately and a cleaning fee of 100,000 KRW will be charged (damage to property and smoking status will be checked upon checkout).

On the 6th-floor lounge, a washing machine, dryer, styler, hot/cold (ice) water dispenser, Han River ramen vending machine (1,500 KRW) + pickled radish, 3 types of cup noodles (5 varieties), and toast + strawberry jam are provided free of charge.

You can enjoy various coffees at a low price from the Italian premium coffee machine (Lavazza) in the lobby.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM.

Early check-in or late check-out costs 10,000 KRW per hour, and if you do not check out for more than 30 minutes without permission, fees may be automatically charged and power may be cut off.

The front desk is not operated from midnight to 7:00 AM (however, check-in is possible during this time).

No pets allowed.

Minors are not allowed to check in, regardless of gender. You may be asked to present identification, and if not provided, check-in will be denied without a refund.

Mixed-gender adults are only allowed in terrace rooms. The temporary swimming pool is only operated during the summer season.

Rooms for multi-night stays are cleaned once a day. If you do not wish for cleaning, please inform us.

All rooms are based on 2 people. For Twin rooms, if there are 3 people, an additional 15,000 KRW will be charged for 1 person. For Terrace rooms, if there are 4 people, an additional 30,000 KRW will be charged for 2 people.

In some cases, guests of the same gender staying together request extra bedding, but extra bedding is not provided.

All delivery food is allowed in the room, but please place strongly odorous food such as king crab outside the room door immediately after eating.

Our hotel is the strictest non-smoking hotel in Gangneung, and if smoking is detected, guests will be asked to vacate immediately and an additional cleaning fee of 100,000 KRW will be charged.

Smoking guests should use the terrace in front of the hotel lobby and the smoking area in the parking lot. Guests who cannot tolerate not smoking in the room, please use another hotel.

For multi-night guests, rooms are cleaned once a day, and if smoking is detected at that time, check-out will be enforced.

Smoking in the bathroom will definitely be detected due to the connected ventilation system (fire detectors in the room and bathroom may activate if smoking occurs).

Therefore, guests who smoke in the room, please use other accommodation. We ask for your cooperation.

Our hotel is one of the few hotels in Gangneung city center with parking for over 30 vehicles. There are 3 hotel-exclusive parking lots, with 1 parking spot per room. Additional vehicles will incur a charge of 10,000 KRW per day per vehicle.

Walk-In Special bookers cannot use parking (10,000 KRW if parked). If you book a Walk-In Special and secretly park, it will be immediately confirmed by CCTV, so don't try to save money, just park comfortably.^^.

Within 30 meters of the hotel, there is parking lot 2 in front of Crystal Motel (leave car keys at the front desk if parking in front) and parking lot 3 in the alley in front of the hotel (6, Okcheon-ro 65beon-gil).

When double parking in parking lot 2, car keys must be left at the front desk. Socar (rental) and smartphone key guests should contact the hotel and park in the designated area as separately guided.

If you book any room as a walk-in and then bring a car, it may cause problems for other guests' parking, so please check and book carefully. Parking fees due to incorrect bookings must be borne by the guest.

The hotel sends guidance messages to app bookers, and guests planning to check in after 10:00 PM are requested to contact the hotel for smooth check-in.

The terrace room mini pool operates from July 24 – August 8 and August 14 – August 15, 2026, based on the check-in date.

The swimming pool water is not included in the room rate, and an additional 50,000 KRW must be paid at the front desk.

The swimming pool water uses potable tap water.

The pool size is 315cm long and 175cm wide (water height is about 50-60cm due to weight safety issues).

Due to pool management issues, water can only be filled until 5:00 PM, and guests who wish to use it must contact us by 2:00 PM on the day of use.

Initially, lukewarm water is provided, but if the water temperature drops over time, warm water will not be provided again.

Multi-night guests must use the water once filled until check-out.

The water is used only once and is completely drained after check-out. Other guests will use the pool after it has been cleaned and refilled, so it is not reused.

Outdoor swimming pools are affected by weather. Therefore, please be sure to inquire with the hotel in advance about availability (if there is no contact, it is considered not in use).

1. The Wi-Fi password and QR code are in the remote control box (for VIP rooms, it's on the light switch).

2. The automatic bidet toilet flushes automatically a short while after you sit down and stand up (if it doesn't flush, you can operate it with the remote control).

3. The room temperature is controlled by a system air conditioner/heater; please use the remote control to adjust it to your preferred temperature.

Since the system air conditioner/heater is an inverter, it takes about 10 minutes after operation to start cooling/heating, so please wait.

4. HDMI1 is for TV external input, and HDMI2 is for integrated OTT. You can change the external input by pressing the external input button on the remote control, and the integrated OTT operates with a separate remote control.

Please wait as the integrated OTT takes some time to load after input.

5. For multi-night stays, room cleaning is provided by default if you go out before 2:00 PM; please let us know if you do not need it.

6. Please be especially careful as the bathroom may be slippery. Particular caution is advised in the penthouse room's swimming pool.

7. The toilet is an automatic bidet, and it flushes automatically when you stand up after use. If it doesn't flush, you can press the remote control or the button next to the toilet.
