My best friend introduced me to Jayeondo Salt Bread and on first bite, I immediately fell in love (insert mouth watering GIF here). I am not shamed to say that each time I went there, I ate all four pieces in one setting. Jayeondo’s Salt Bread is warm, fresh, moist, flavorful…. basically perfection. I can imagine tasting them as I type this review. If you are in the area, I would recommend that you treat yourself with this must have food experience. 10/10 recommend.

The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's kinda like a Korean version of croissant. The buttery taste is well balance by the addition of salt. The base of the bread is oily and when you press between your fingers, you can feel the oil oozing. It is a great snack to pair with coffee for that morning burst. 😊

I guess I was lucky to have a taste of these delicious salt bread without waiting. Influencers have been boasting about this place on Instagram but finally I can agree to them, it was delicious. 4 pieces in a bag and one bite and it just disappear in your mouth, soft, salty, buttery, flaky and you will be left crying for more. Highly recommend place when you visit Seoul.

For a one menu shop, I thought it would be hard for them to live up to the hype but the salt bread really is that good! Amazing. It's like a savory croissant with fewer layers. So satisfying. Way better than sweet bakeries. Must try and definitely recommend!

We just had lunch at a restaurant next door and saw the crowd of this bakery. So, we tried it out. When we arrived, there’s only one menu, the salt bread and it comes in a package of 4 for 12000 KRW. They have a lovely aesthetic spot to eat in, and the bread was so delicious and soft but also crispy! It’s like a more plump croissant. Definitely worth the price
