With the upcoming impeachment ruling of President Yoon Suk-yeol on April 4, some facilities and transportation in Seoul will be locked down. For public safety, subway stations and intersections near the Constitutional Court will be closed, and certain tourist sites, including Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheongwadae (the Bluse House) will be closed for the day.
☑️ Subway
Starting April 1, some exits of Anguk Station (Subway Line 3), located near the Constitutional Court, have been closed. As of 4pm, April 3, trains will not stop by the station, with all exits being sealed off. Nearby stations, including Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung, Jongno 3-ga, Jonggak, City Hall, Yeouido, and Hangangjin, may also not operate under circumstances on April 4.
☑️ Bus
City buses will also be affected. On April 4, buses in central Seoul may bypass some bus stops or take temporary detours due to police control. Affected areas include Gwanghwamun Intersection, Sejong-daero Intersection, Anguk Station, Yeouidae-ro, and Hannam-dong.
