From a gigantic Christmas tree to a Christmas market and carousel, the Christmas town at Lotte World Tower has everything you could dream of. The theme for 2024 is 'Charlotte Village,' and the town will be open until the end of the year. What's more, CHANEL has opened a special ice rink near the town for the first time in three years.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the entire tower will transform into a giant Christmas tree, with lights adorning the entire exterior. Also, Lotte Department Store next door will host a Christmas lighting show on its exterior every 30 minutes until the end of the year, so if you stop by Jamsil, you can fully experience the festive atmosphere!

Myeongdong is one the best spots to feel the romantic Christmas vibes in Seoul! Lotte Department Store has transformed into 'Theater Sogong,' reminiscent of 1900s Broadway. Enjoy stunning media façades, a ticket booth photo zone, and show windows created in collaboration with renowned artists. What's more is that they've prepared a Christmas lighting show!

No advance tickets are required, but we recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid crowds - last year, the event attracted a record-breaking 1.2 million visitors!

After exploring the Christmas market, take a magical stroll through the Seoul Lantern Festival, which lights up Gwanghwamun Square and its surroundings. This year’s theme, "SOUL LANTERN: Seoul, Play with Lights," beautifully showcases a captivating blend of Seoul’s traditional heritage and modern charm.

Times Square is one of the Christmas spots that locals are raving about! Snap pictures in front of the giant gold-covered tree and explore the enchanting maze garden. If the cold gets too much, step inside - the shopping mall features indoor maze gardens to keep the festive fun going. No advance tickets are needed, but consider visiting after 9 PM to avoid the crowds.

Getting there is easy - it’s just a 20 min walk from Lotte World Tower or a 10 min bus ride.

This charming wine bar is only a 2 min walk from Pat A Cake. Here, you can pair delicious delicacies like raw beef sashimi and cheese plates with a fine selection of wine and whisky. As a popular dating spot in Korea, the bar is beautifully decorated with festive touches, including snowmen, a carousel, and other Christmas ornaments.

Visit Lotte World Tower for a festive experience full of fun! Take a photo in front of the giant Christmas tree, then stop by the market. If you purchase a ticket to the market, you can enjoy a free ride on the carousel! Each ticket allows one ride, and the carousel runs from 12 PM to 10 PM.
